Colby Haithcock passed away at approximately 0215 on a Sunday Morning, 11 February 2018. Colby was the passenger in a vehicle driven by one of his friends.

Colby was passionate about Diesel trucks, about his boots and clothes (They could never get dirty), and about becoming an Electrical Lineman like his father.

An avid hunter, he loved shooting a deer and making jerky. It usually was excellent. he always talked about the big one that got away.

As a parent, you do not want to wake up to NC State Highway Patrol Troopers showing up for a death notification. That happened at 5:18am on the 11th. Tracey, Colby's mother, was devastated.
