Born June 9, 1967, i grew up in central NC excelling in sports and academics. At the age of 20, i joined the US Navy's Nuclear Power Program and Submarine Force and became an Electrician's Mate. IT WOULD BECOME ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS i MADE AT AN EARLY AGE.

I earned my enlisted Dolphins on Sept 04, 1990 on board USS PARCHE SSN 683. Joining the brotherhood of the qualified submariners taught me many things and I am forever proud that I qualified and excelled in the submarine force. After 10 years enlisted, I was commissioned as an officer and once again traveled the halls of Nuclear Power School.

I earned my Gold Dolphins as a Junior Officer on board USS WYOMING SSBN 742 (B) on Dec 07, 2000 and ultimately completed 23 years of Naval Service retiring as a LCDR. This tour of duty imprinted the knowledge and experiences to create this fictional tale.

Married to my wife Tracey Anderson and living back home in NC, we both enjoy time riding motorcycles with a great group of friends. We also work tirelessly promoting their non-profit COLBY HAITHCOCK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP created after losing Tracey's son Colby. Within one year after his death, we have raised over $11,000 and donate $5000 per academic year to several scholarships and funds providing classroom supplies.

My children: Olivia (26) lives in Hawaii, Oliver (16) and Annalise (14) live with their mom in Clarksville TN and spend summers and holidays in NC with us. Tracey's daughter Rylie (14) also lives here in NC as well.

After the death of Colby, I decided to dust off the Keep Silent Service book and self publish the book through Amazon, donating any royalties to the Colby Haithcock Memorial Scholarship Fund. It is my hope that you will take a chance on a new author, live the life as a submariner through these stories, and help us keep Colby's dreams alive by donating to the charity.
